My daughter was a patient there, she had many anxiety attacks because of all the yelling from the other patients (adolescents) that were there. We waited 2.5 days for a bed so, it was the floor. $525.00 debt for ambulance transport..
I had the unwilling honor to spend Memorial weekend at Crescent Pines and I can't say I COMPLETELY wanted to be there; but I have to say, it actually really isn't a bad place! The staff is really nice and helpful. It was my first time in a place like this and it was absolutely not like anything seen on TV. We had three meals throughout the day and even a snack in the evening. If you didn't need medication they didn't force it down your throat. People don't walk around like zombies and really express themselves when they feel like it. If you're a smoker, they give you smoke breaks. You can't go out whenever you want but at least they allow you to have them. If you do what you're suppose to do, meaning; not showing out and actually following the rules, your time there will go by smoothly. The only downside is not being able to go to your room throughout the day. Like if you're tired, you would have to stay out in the community room and find a place to nap. You don't necessarily have to make friends but its helpful finding people you could pass the time with.
One of the only (slightly) good mental hospitals in the Piedmont region.
From the beginning of this process to the very end it was nothing but GREAT. This journey was not the easiest to go through but the staff here made it as easy and tolerable as they could. From the front desk to intake to the nurses to the visitation advisors to the medical records, they ALL were professional and took care of all of our needs with some extra help. THANK YOU staff at Crescent Pine Hospital. Keep up the good work.
Lol it ain’t the worst place to go you have more fun in the adolescent unit than receive help
i went to cressent pines and i fell in love with a girl that actually helped me get better but the staff did not help at all but i found my wife
I had suffered a very serious Panic attack. The facility is a 4.5 out of % 95% of the staff is caring and understanding. Miss T is incredible so are the social workers and nurses. The food is also very good
