My son went to this facility as it was the only one available. It was a drive for us. I could not get a release date until two days prior to his release which I was fine with because I just wanted him to be better. Within two days I was able to see a change in him. I hadn’t seen him so happy in a long long time - years. He said the food wasn’t very good but he ate well. I loved the staff (except one which quit after I made a complaint). My son is transgender and they dealt with this wonderfully. They kept him in a room by himself because of his sexuality. We had a lot of communication back and forth about my sons care. He can be very negative and say he never learns anything but actually admits quickly that he learned a lot like how to cope. My son went in because of his cutting, suicidal thoughts and depression. He came out such a great kid. I really appreciate everything they did. A few of the mentionable people that really left a positive impact to me was Norman (he was by far the easiest to speak to and the most helpful), Selma, Beverly and June (I believe this was her name). There were others that I didn’t catch their names. I can not say how amazing this place has been for us.
