What I love about working at River Edge is the laughter I hear from the clients as they walk the hallways. They have their ups and downs but they always encourage one another. I believe the unity the clients possess is conveyed daily by their loving group leaders. We have a great atmosphere of oneness amongst the staff. Our Mantra is "We make life better”. I am determined to do my best in encouraging the clients by giving them a smile or a kind word so they will know we are here to help make their life better!!!

I have been an employee since 1991. River Edge has been such a huge part of my life. As a recovering staff I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given, to not only grow professionally with the training opportunities, but the freedom to work in Substance Abuse treatment and fulfill my passion. What an awesome job I have to watch our clients engage in recovery ! I am grateful I have my handprints on these sacred walls where so many make a difference and we do make lives better!

River Edge has some of the most awesome personnel. Personnel that whole heartedly help with the holistic process of recovery; Even if its as small as giving someone a tray while waiting for an appointment, or helping to find someone emergency shelter, River Edge is a place that values customer service because we really believe in the practicality of making life better for all of our consumers. :)

They rarely answer the phone. It is sort of hard to go there if you cant reach them and they do not return calls.

So far I have really been happy with my experience. The staff have all been very kind and professional. I have never stayed as an inpatient or outpatient but they are really helpful in getting medication at a decent cost.

For the most part, staff was good - some glitches in scheduling, but it was fine. Will need to adjust medicines though, I feel sedated all day, and not able to take care of myself or anyone in my household. I didn't feel like I could get a word in edgewise about more choices regarding medicines.
